Backpacking on the Ouachita Trail

Long Hike: HWY 9 Trailhead to Flatside Pinnacle Mountain (12.4 Miles)

                Friday:  Hike from HWY 9 to Nancy Mountain Shelter (2.3 Miles)

                Saturday: Hike from Nancy Mountain Shelter to Brown Creek Shelter (7 Miles)

                Sunday:  Hike from Brown Creek Shelter to Flatside Pinnacle Mountain (3.1 Miles)

Short Hike:  Flatside Pinnacle Mountain to Brown Creek Shelter and back. (6.2 Miles Round Trip)

Meet Friday at 5:30 at the Church, depart by 6:00.

Estimated return by 12:30 Sunday.  This could change.  Be sure to watch your email on Sunday.  Pickup at the Church.

Packing List: 

Minimum of 3 Liters of water.  Be sure your water bottles are FULL when you arrive at the church.
