Attached is Troop 99’s Canoe Camping Checklist.
Rock Climbing and Repelling. If unable to climb due to rain, we will do some hiking and exploring the area.
Sam’s Throne Recreation Area
Meet Friday (3/12) at 5:30 at the Church. Depart at 6:00.
Sunday 3/14 at 1:00 at the Church. Be sure to watch your email for time changes.
$35 plus money for McDonalds (if time allows)
We will be following the BSA and Department of Health guidelines as our safety plan. Everyone should sleep in separate tents and no stacking hammocks.
Everyone will be expected to have a mask and wear it when needed.
Food will be individually purchased and cooked separately from others. We will not be utilizing patrol boxes so bring your own utensils and anything that you require for your meals.
Please have a conversation with your scout before departure so that the rules are clearly understood.

Eat supper before you arrive on Friday.
Each scout will be responsible for providing their own food for the following meals:
Saturday Breakfast (Hot or Cold)
Saturday Lunch (Cold that will fit in a Daypack)
Sunday Breakfast (Cold)
Money for McDonald’s on Sunday.
Lows in the 40’s. Highs in the upper 50’s. Rain is predicted. **If we are unable to climb due to rain, we will go hiking and explore the area.
5:30 – Meet at church, pack trailers.
6:00 – Depart from church.
Climbing and Repelling or hiking and exploring the area if raining.
6:00 – Wakeup, Breakfast
8:00 – Camp cleaned up and trailers loaded.
8:30 – Chapel.
9:00 – Depart with goal of stopping at McDonalds
1:00 – Arrive at church.
