Day Bike Trip and Adair Family Send Off Party on Saturday 9/19

Activity: 

Day trip Bike Riding on the Arkansas River Trail.  When the bike ride concludes, the scouts will travel to Mills Park to play frisbee and attend the Adair Family send off to Ireland party.

 

Departure Time:  

Be at the church Saturday (9/19) at 7:30 am. Leaving at 8:00 am. 

Eat breakfast before you arrive.

 

Return Time:  

Saturday (9/19) at 5:00 pm.  Pick your scout up at Mills Park.

Packing List: 

Scouts should bring:

  1. Bike (Tires aired and brakes checked)
  2. Helmet
  3. Day pack
  4. Water
  5. Lunch
  6. Snacks
  7. Sunscreen
  8. Sunglasses
  9.  

Food: 

Scouts should eat breakfast before arriving and bring, lunch, snacks and plenty of water.

 

Weather: 

Perfect.  High of 75.

 

Location: 

Bike ride will start and conclude at 2 Rivers Park. 

Parent pickup will be at Mills Park in Bryant.

 

Schedule:

7:30 – Meet at church.

8:00 – Depart Church and drive to 2 Rivers Park

8:45 to 11:30 – Ride from 2 Rivers Park East over the Big Dam Bridge, and onto the N. Little Rock side as far as we can go.

11:30 – Lunch (Everyone bring their own)

12:15 to 3:15 – Turn around and ride back to 2 Rivers Park

4:00 – Arrive at Mills Park to play frisbee and celebrate Quinn Adair’s Family moving to Ireland.  No food will be served at the party.

5:00 – Parents, pick scouts up at Mills Park.
