Military Vehicle Club Weekend (9/22/2023 to 9/24/2023)

Activity: 

Visiting with Veterans and learning about historical military vehicles

Petit Jean State Park

Departure Time:  

Friday.  Meet at 5:30 at Salem United Methodist Church.  Depart at 6:00

Return Time:

Cost:  

$16.  Must make arrangements to pay before the trip. 

Grub Money is $12 pers person paid to your Grub Master.

There is room for both hammocks and tents.

Buffalo River Canoe Trip (5/19/2023 to 5/21/2023)

Canoeing

Camp at Woolum Campground Friday and Saturday night.  On Saturday, we will drive to Mt. Hersey and do a day float back to Woolum Campground.  Approximately 8.5 river miles.

The bugs at Woolum Campground will likely be bad.  Be sure to bring bug spray and a bug net if you are hammock camping.

The only gear that we will bring on the water is the gear you need for the day float.  This includes lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, bailing buckets/sponges, etc.  Everything that goes in the canoe that you want to keep dry should be in a Dry Bag.  Garbage bags and Ziploc bags do not work as a dry bag.
